At least they're not child labourers

On Wednesday, I attended a farewell lunch for one of my co-workers at Ruby Foo's. I had dim sum and sushi, and lots o goodies to eat. It was deee-lious.

Unfortunately, I had to leave early for a conference call, so after some leisurely appetizer dim sum, and a not so leisurely sushi entree, I jetted back to work.

The rest of the group stayed on for dessert. One intriguing drink on the menu was: Monkey Picked Tea.

I kid you not. It's actually oolong tea, hand picked by actual monkeys. How cool is that? I can imagine them, waking up in the morning and running around in a panic because they're already late, riding the train to work, putting in a long hard 8 or 9 hours at work swinging from tree to tree and putting tea leaves into bags strapped around their waists. Then coming home to a nice dinner with the family, a little tv and maybe a nice cold beer.

Oh wait, that's me. Except replace the tea leaves with a keyboard and monitor. Yeah...
