Brr... it's cold

Remember how just a few days ago, it seemed that spring was just within grasp? You can forget all about that. Yesterday, yet another winter storm blew through our city and brought with it even more snow.

Just before I left my apartment for work yesterday, I noticed that the snow had really picked up. I was having a good hair day so I was horrified at the thought of the snow flattening my hair. I considered wearing my hat, but that would result in hat head (a fate not much better than snow flattened hair). So... I grabbed my umbrella instead.

Yes, I turned into one of those strange and annoying people who are so vain that they carry an umbrella in the snow.

Eh... what are you going do... If there's one thing I learned about New York. You can do anything you want and get away with it as long as you execute it with a certain amount of confidence. You gotta love this city.

On a side note. My friend pointed out yesterday that I'm the only person he knows that actually says "Brrr" instead of shivering like a normal person. I will literally say "Brr... it's cold out here" instead of just letting my teeth chatter.
